This application profile outlines an approach to installation of T-FIT sheet insulation around storage tanks, ducts, vessels, etc. using a 3M double-sided tape and dispenser.
The tape is a high tack and shear strength, UV-resistant PSA tape suited for bonding T-FIT insulation sheet to steel, stainless steel or aluminium tanks, vessels etc.
The dispenser easily applies double-sided tape for bonding whilst automatically stripping the liner. For easy installation of T-FIT sheets, the dispenser applies exposed tape to the foam sheet, allowing the insulation sheet to be directly applied to the tank/vessel surface.
T-FIT foam insulation products are available in pre-formed tubes and in sheet form. Based on ZOTEK® high-performance closed cell crosslinked foams from Zotefoams, both formats offer the same outstanding product performance.
